**For the 2021 calendar year, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) increased the amount which may be contributed through a DCAP from $5,000 to $10,500 (or from $2,500 to $5,250 for individuals who are married but filing separately). Employers had the option, but were not required, to increase the election amount on plans they sponsor.
